OUR STORY

In the mid-1970s, in a small town in Washington called Deer Park. Sharon Kelley, the “Queen Bee” of Better than Brittle, got the recipe from a friend while living in Deer Park and started making her delightful, peanut buttery peanut brittle for friends and family during the holiday season. In 1991, my mom decided to enter her candy into the California State Fair in Sacramento, where she won First Place and received a blue ribbon. We continued to make and sell during the holidays.
