Vintage English enamel hot water can dating to the 1930's. The maid's would fill these enamel water cans up with hot water and carry it upstairs for the master's to use for cleaning up in the morning. The can has quite a bit of enamel loss, and quite a bit of rusting, but it does not leak. There are patches of white-cream paint here and there. The can measures 10" high to the top of the handle and 12" wide from end of spout to end of side handle. There is a hinged compartment on the top with a little knob to open to fill the can. Great for your garden!
