Wonderful and hard to find antique child's 36pc brown transferware set by Copeland dating to about 1870. The pattern is called Copeland Hearts and has a trailing vine of trillium or heart shaped 3 lobe flowers. All pieces are embossed with Copeland and a crown. The set includes 2 soup tureens with lid and underplate, a pedestal casserole dish with lid and underplate, a pedestal compote, a platter measuring 5.75" long, 6 dinner plates 4" across, 9 deep dish bowls, and 10 plates 3.5" across. These dish have been well played with, but remarkably there are no chips or cracks except for 1 tight hairline on the back of an underplate. Just a fabulous set!
