Large antique English sterling silver lid and cut star base glass with handled dabber perfume bottle. The bottle has a sterling silver hinged lid with a sterling silver collar. It has a blank cartouche on the top with reticulated designs of florals, scrolls, leaves and ferns. I could find no dents and the hinge is in good working order. I could not make out the Assay mark, but the standard lion mark and the letter n is marked. Inside the hinge is a dainty glass dabber with an elegant handle. The glass body is exquisite with a very large star cut base, and various cut stars and suns. The suns are depressed (how did they do this?) and the glass is very heavy. I could find no chips or cracks. The perfume bottle measures 5" high and about 3.5" across its widest points. A stunning perfume bottle!
