Darling antique English single tea caddy wooden box with key. I think the wood is walnut and it has a beautiful patina. The box has black banding on both sides with decorative mother of pearl and bone tiles. Two of the tiles are missing on the back by the hinges and some loss of banding on the back. It has an inlaid brass keyhole and a decorative brass tile on the lid. Inside there is a lid with a bone handle and it is missing one corner insert. There are some chips and little cracks to the wood. The key works and locks the box. This box dates to around the 1900's. Just wonderful!
