Gorgeous antique English inlaid Walnut tea caddy with Mahogany interior lids dating to around 1855. The domed lid has 2 bars of fabulous inlaid wood that continues down the front and bottom of the tea caddy. The walnut has a wonderful patina with some minor wear. The mahogany lids have brass handles and there is a minor split in the wood of one of the lids. Most of the silver lining within the compartments has worn away. There is no key. The caddy measures 5" high, 8" wide and 4.75" deep. The bottom is covered in burlap. Just a fabulous box!
