Wonderful antique English wooden book with a secret compartment dating to around 1850's. The mahogany wood has a well worn smooth patina with a separate wooden spine column that is removable to reveal a hidden chamber. The book measures 7" long, 4.25" wide, and 1.25" thick. The photos do not do it justice and must see in person to appreciate.
