Beautiful 19th century English Regency rosewood tea caddy with mother of pearl key hole and 2 compartments lined in silver. The wood has a wonderful patina and the tea caddy rests on 4 button feet. It measures 6.5" high, 8.25" long, and 5" wide. There are a few gashes to the wood and a split in the wood on the back all age appropriated. There are 2 lids for the compartements that are a little warped and all the silver is missing inside. There are a few cracks to the inside. The lid fits snug and the 2 back hinges work well. The original key is missing. Just a beautiful caddy!
