Beautiful antique french gilt ormolu jewelry box with dark pink silk lining. The lid is very ornate with swags of roses and leaves. The front and back of the box has bows and repeats the swag of roses and leaves. It rests on 4 ornate legs. Inside the lid and inside of the box is lined in a dark pink silk with braided rope. The box measures 4" high, 3.5" wide, and 2.5" deep. The hinge works fine and there is some loss of gilt. It is stamped on the bottom Orfevrerie Dilecta Depose No 68 Fabrication Francaise. A beautiful box!
