Beautiful antique Victorian sterling silver lid and cut glass tall ladies vanity jar. The lid has a machine turned design with a blank center cartouche. The inside of the lid is hallmarked London 1878. There are no dents, but does have one split in the silver. The lid fits snugly over the glass. There are no chips or cracks to the glass. The jar measures 3.25" high and 1.25" across. The glass is very thick and heavy.
