Beautiful ladies vanity jar with a sterling silver and tortoiseshell lid with beautiful pique and cut glass. The lid has beautiful bows and swags in pique and is hallmarked Birmingham 1931 with James Dison & Sons silversmiths. The cut glass is exquisite with a star cut base, and gorgeous pattern with 3 star of David cartouches. The jar measures 2" high and about 4" across. I could find nothing wrong with it--no chips or cracks or splits to the shell. A very beautiful one of a kind jar!
