Beautiful vintage french oil on canvas gilt framed and signed floral still life painting. The painting has beautiful, colorful poppies in a vase with a blue plate. The colors are beautiful with subtle pastels on a neutral background which make the poppies really stand out. It is signed and I cannot make out the signature and dated 1956. The gilt frame has seen some use with scratches and loss of paint. Just a beautiful painting found in Brussels!
