Belgium majolica pitcher depicting a maiden milking a goat on one side of the pitcher and a maiden milking a lamb on the other side of the pitcher. It has a brown branch handle and a border of leaves around the neck with a creamy white interior. It is marked Nimy, Lez-Mons Mouzin Lecat & Cie with the Belgium lion in the center and dates this from 1851-1898. The pitcher measures 5.25" high and 6" wide from end of spout to end of handle. There are no chips or cracks and there is overall crazing. A portion of the lip has the glaze worn away. Majolica is highly prized from Nimy, Belgium.
