I think this is one of the most beautiful patterns by Royal Crown Derby. The pattern is Melrose and it has swags of roses and other florals being held up with gold rings. The teapot measures 8.5" high to the top of the finial and 8" wide from end of spout to end of handle. There are no chips or cracks and the gold accents are bright and not faded. Oddly, the bottom of the sugar bowl rim is not glazed. I don't know if this was a factory flaw. The teapot is very clean inside. It is marked Royal Crown Derby Made in England "Melrose". Just a beautiful set!
