Gorgeous antique french majolica asparagus platter with matching cradle server dating to the 1880's. The colors are beautiful with rich purples, teal, dark greenery and browns. The platter measures 12.25" long and 9.5" high. The cradle measures 8.5" long and 4" high and rests on 4 feet. There are no chips or cracks and there is overall faint crazing. The platter is marked on the back and I cannot make it out, but can tell it is french. Very rare to find a matching set in such good condition.
