Antique fairing of a girl with a purple dress, bonnet, basket, and holding a posy of flowers. She is ringing a bell on a church perhaps? There is a fence and greenery. These fairings were made by the Germans for the English victorian market sold at fairs hence the name, dating to the 1880's. This fairing measures 4" high, 2.5" lond, and 2" deep. I could find no chips or cracks. The bottom is marked 1786. A very unusual one!
