Beautiful set of 4 solid sterling silver and mother of pearl knives with a serrated top edge. Not sure what this is for--to cut bread, scones? The front of the blade has a lovely design and the back of the blade is hallmarked Sheffile 1928 with M & W silversmiths which stands for Mappin & Webb a very reputable silversmiths from England. The knife measures 7" long and 1/2" wide. The mother of pearl handles are beautiful and I could find no damage. These are in excellent condition and appear to be unused. Just a beautiful set!
