Antique English walnut wooden tea caddy with gorgeous tulip wood banding and inlay dating to the 19th C. It has two compartments with lids and a key hole, but no key. The inside lid has its original paper and there is some tin lining left in the compartments. The hinges are in good working order and I could find no damage to the caddy. The wood has a wonderful smooth patina. The caddy measures 4.25" high, 7" long, and 4 1/8" deep. A beautiful example of 19th C. workmanship.
