Fabulous and rare is this Royal Crown Derby Imari cabaret tea set with teapot, creamer, sugar, and cup and saucer, and tray. The set has the blue mark which dates this from 1877-1890. The cup and saucer I think was added at a later date because it has the red mark and the saucer has the word Derby impressed on it. I think the cup and saucer itself is very rare. It is in remarkable condition with just some wear to the edge of the tray. There are no chips and I did find one hairline to the side of the handle on the teapot, but it does not go all the way through and does not leak. The teapot holds 2 cups. The tray measures 14" long from handle to handle and 10.75" high. The tray's handles are embossed and decorative and the finial of the teapot and the handles repeat the shape of the handles of the tray. Just a fabulous and very rare set!!
