English sterling silver hinged finger chain dance compact hallmarked Birmingham 1914. It has beautiful etchings on the front is a centered round cartouche which can be personalized and has tiny roses all over with lovely curved lines. It has a silver chain with a large ring to place around the finger. These purses were used at dances to hold money and lipstick. The inside has 3 compartments and is in excellent condition with very little wear. The purse measures 3" long and 4.5" wide. It weighs 89 grams. Very little wear to this lovely purse!
