Very interesting framed print of a Fox Hound hand colored and printed for J Wheble 18, Warwick Square, and dated 1812. John Wheble, 1746-1820, was a prominent printer and antiquary in London. It has a gold frame and a brown matte. The frame measures 6.75" high and 7.75" long and has a hanger for easy hanging. The opening in the matte measures 3.5" x 4.75". The print is titled Vol.40. Fox Hound London Printed for J. Wheble, 18, Warwick Square. 1812. The frame has some wear. Very nice.
