Rare vintage Royal Winton chintz Queen Anne teapot in the wonderful Athena shape. This is my favorite shape of all the teapots. It has an elegant curve neck, rests on 4 feet, and the handle has a molded design. The teapot measures 5" high and 8" wide from end of teapot to end of handle. It holds 3 cups. There are no chips or cracks and the gold accents are bright and not faded. The only thing I noticed was a thin brush stroke of paint on the handle obviously factory made. It is marked Royal Winton Grimwades Made in England "Queen Anne". Just lovely.
