Very rare indeed is this vintage Royal Winton chintz teapot in the black Crocus pattern also known as Triumph pattern. It was produced in 1939, but is one of the few Royal Winton patterns that has never been found with a pattern name backstamp. It holds 4 cups and measures 5.5" high and 8" wide from end of spout to end of handle. There are no chips or cracks, but there is overcrazing, some staining on the inside, and some fading of the gold accents. It is marked Royal Winton Grimwades Made in England. A great addition to your collection!
