Vintage Royal Winton chintz teapot in the rare Shrewsbury pattern. The pattern was introduced after WWII and is quite beautiful. The teapot measures 6" high to the top of the finial and 8" wide from end of spout to end of handle. There are no chips or cracks and there is some staining and crazing, and some fading of the gold accents. It is marked "Shrewsbury" Royal Winton Grimwades Made in England Can. RG 1952.
