Antique 19th C. french porcelain figurine of Madonna and Child Jesus. The faces have been hand painted and it has quite a smooth patina as one could imagine it has passed through many hands since the 1800s. It measures 9.5" high and 3" wide. The statue has a sturdy round ornate base and she has flowing robes and both have dark hair and pretty blue eyes. I could find nothing wrong with it--no chips or cracks. Just a fabulous 19th C. piece!
