Elegant vintage English Sheffield silver plate round butter dish with 3 claw feet and rotating domed lid. The lid has a shell tab to lift the domed lid. There is a separate silver plate liner and a glass liner, which is not original to the dish. I could find no dents and there are a few light scratches. It measures 5.5" high and about 5.5" across. It is marked E.P.N.S. Made in Sheffield England. A very elegant way to serve butter!
