Gorgeous antique large size sterling silver lid and cut glass ladies vanity jar. The lid is oblong with a ruffled border and a blank cartouche in the center. It has several ornate curling plumes. The lid is hallmarked Chester 1904 with JDWD silversmiths. There are no dents or slits in the silver. The cut glass has a beautiful alternating pattern. There is a chip to the glass in the corner that has smoothed over with no sharp edges. The jar measures 5" long, 2.25" wide, and 1.25" high. Just a gorgeous jar!
