This is what I call a beautiful marriage. The cut glass perfume bottle with star cut base and sterling silver neck is a different hallmark than the sterling silver lid. The neck of the perfume bottle has a Birmingham 1846 hallmark with RBLD silversmiths. It has a darling little dauber with a prism head. The cut glass is very intricate with various x's and o's. I could find no chips or cracks. It measures 4" high and about 3.5" across. The sterling silver lid has a different hallmark, but I must say it fits on the neck perfectly. I never would have guessed this was not the original lid. It is hallmarked Birmingham 1909 with MBRS silversmiths. It has a centered blank cartouche and embossed designs of scrolls and feathers. There are a couple of little pindot dents, but nothing major. A beautiful perfume bottle!
