Antique English sterling silver vesta case for matches with a striker on the bottom. It has a ring at the top and can be used with a chain for a necklace. It has a lid with a hinge that opens. It has beautiful engravings of scrolls and in one corner it looks like it is monogrammed, but cannot make out the letter. On the inside of the case on the rim is the hallmark for Birmingham 1902. The case measures 1.5" long and 1 1/8" wide. Just a very beautiful piece of sterling silver!
