Very rare to find a pair of antique Victorian waste bowls made especially for smoking pipes. The opening measures 2 1/8" across and is the perfect size for emptying most pipes. They are supported by 3 legs on a thick platform. They measure 4" high and the base is 2 1/4" across. They are quite lovely with no chips or cracks and very little wear. Would make a great gift!
