Antique German fairing of a girl selling oysters dating to the 1880's. The girl has a table with a bucket full of oysters, 2 lobsters, shells, a bottle, and a cake plate with an open basket for matches. On the front it says Oysters sir? It measures 3.5" high, 3.5" wide, and 2.5" deep. I could find no chips or cracks. Fairings were made by the Germans in the 1880's for the Victorians and sold at fairs, thus its namesake.
