Rare to find a matching pair of antique English solid sterling silver lids and cut glass with star cut bottom ladies vanity jars. The lids are beautiful with a large blank cartouche that can be personalized hallmarked Birmingham 1899, with JJ makers marks. It has a gold wash on the inside. I could find no dents. The cut glass has a star cut bottom with checkers and stars on the diagonal. There are no chips or cracks. Each jar measures 1.5" high and 1.75" across. Just a beautiful pair!
