Gorgeous antique 19th C. Georgian style silver-plate tea caddy box. The caddy rests on 4 large balled feet with a single compartment. The engraving of the silver-plate is fabulous with geometrics, florals, and leaves. It is marked W.B. & Co. 1701 and is the mark of William Briggs 1875-1922, a very renowned silversmith. It is in excellent condition with no dents or loss of silver and just a few scratches. The hinges on the lid are in good working order.
