Absolutely gorgeous 19th C. antique french ormolu watch fob holder with gorgeous etched glass. The glass is rounded with beautiful etched ferns and leaves. The glass hinge opens with working original door clasp to reveal a little hook for a watch and a round plate with an etched scene of a man sitting behind a large box with great detail. The round plate has a gilded metal ornate ruffled border. It has a decorative top handle and it rests on 2 feet and a back spring stand. The watch holder measures about 4.5" high and 3" wide. A very grand French decorative antique dating to around the 1880's. No chips or cracks in the glass, some minor wear to the gilt metal. Your pocket watch will look magnificent displayed in this fine piece!
