Antique English sterling silver ornate repousse lid and star cut base glass vanity jar. The lid is gorgeous with a blank centered cartouche surrounded by scrolls, plumes, crosshatch, flowers, and leaves. It is hallmarked Birmingham 1902 with A & L L co. silversmiths. The heavy glass jar has a star cut base with an all over hobnail pattern. The jar measures 2.5" high and 2.25" across. I could only find 1 or 2 very minor dents to the silver and no chips or cracks to the glass. A great addition to your collection!
