Vintage Royal Winton chintz tea set in the gorgeous Summertime pattern that dates to the 1930's. The elite style teapot has a beautiful strawberry with leaves for the finial of the lid and has graceful lines. It holds 4 cups and there are no chips or cracks and the gold accents have not faded. It measures 5.5" high and 8.5" long from end of spout to end of handle. The double handle sugar bowl has the same strawberry with 3 leaves for the finial of the lid. There are no chips or cracks, but there is 2 little nicks around the inside rim mentioned for clarity. The sugar bowl measures 4" high and 5" wide from handle to handle. The creamer has no chips or cracks and the gold accents are bright. It measures 2.75" high and 5" long. All pieces are marked Summertime Copyright Wright Tyndale & van Roden Inc. England Royal Winton Grimwades Made in England which dates this to the 1930's. A beautiful set!
