Stunning 19th C. Victorian watercolor portrait of a beautiful gentile woman walking in the country with what looks like she is holding flowers in her apron. She has dark hair with hints of blue throughout the painting. The painting has an inner gilt border with glass, and has a gorgeous walnut burr thick frame. The frame measures 11.25" x 8.5" and the inner painting itself measures 7.5" x 4.75. The frame is 1.5" thick and has a hanger on the back for easy hanging. There are various nicks and scratches. I could not find a signature. A beautiful one of a kind!
