Gorgeous antique victorian tortoiseshell lid with sterling silver pique lid and multi-faceted oval glass ladies vanity jar. The lid has sterling silver banded sides that are hallmarked London 1889 with RJW as the silversmiths. The shell is perfect with gorgeous pique silver design with bows, swags, and a oval centered cartouche that can be personalized. The glass jar has multi-faceted glass (how did they do this??) with a thick bottom. The jar measures about 2.5" high, a little over 3.75" long, and 2" wide. There are no chips or cracks and just a few little scratches to the glass. An absolute gem!
