Very nice pair of vintage English framed and matted period portrait silhouettes. The portraits are black on a white background with gold accents and signed E.E.L. The frames measure 5.5" x 4.5". One is marked Miss Clarissa and the other is Mr. Simon. Each has a ring on the back for easy hanging. Each are marked Owl Silhouettes "Shadows we are and like shadows depart." (From a Sundial in Pump Court, Temple Bar, London.) An original design by Enid Elliott Linder Pennyfarthing Prints Torquay England. A one of a kind!
