Antique original beveled Barbola mirror dating to the 1920's. THis is one of the prettiest of Barbola mirrors that I have seen. The border has ribbed light pink ribbon with a flowered gesso border on the edges. Handpainted gesso flowers line the ribbon on the upper left and lower right corners. There are several flowers including pink roses, blue and white daisies, white lily of the valley, and various leaves and stems. There is some minor chipping and several age cracks. The mirror itself has a half inch bevel and there is some foxing. The mirror measures 11.5" high and about 9.5" wide and has its own backstand. Just a fabulous one of a kind mirror which would look lovely gracing your dresser!
