Antique still life floral botanical framed oil on canvas painting signed Bartin. The dark colors are very typical of the Belgian artists at the turn of the century c. 1900. The background is dark and one can just make out the flowers--poppies, parrot tulip, mum, and roses. The dark background make the colors of the flowers really pop and stand out. The painting is framed in a dark wood with gold inner borders. The artist signed it Bartin in the lower right corner. The painting measures 15" long and 13" wide. The canvas measures 10.5" long by 8.5" wide. The frame has some wear. A very beautiful painting!
