Gorgeous antique English sterling silver repousse lid and star cut base glass vanity jar. The silver is gorgeous with an ornate blank centered cartouche, fruits, leaves, scrolls, and beaded accents. It has a gold wash on the inside. It is hallmarked Chester 1911 with WJM & Co. silversmiths. The glass has an intricate cut design and a star cut on the bottom. I could find no chips or cracks to the glass nor dents to the silver. It measures 3.5" long, 1.5" wide and 1.25" high. A beautiful jar!
