Fabulous antique french gold plated ormolu ladies vanity jewelry box marked Guttin 68. There is quite a bit of attention to detail with decorative birds on the lid. It has a twisted rope border and rests on 4 balled feet. Each side of the box has a different round floral enamel plaque with a detailed border around it. Each one is different, with a navy background and different flowers in each one. The entire inside of the box is lined in gold satin. The box measures about 2.5" high, 4.25" long, and 3" wide. It is in excellent condition with just a few spots of discoloration. One of a kind!!
