Gorgeous antique Victorian paper mache black lacquer brides basket with a brass molded handle and pink roses, dating to 1850's. It is very unusual to find the original brass molded handle still attached to the basket as most are missing. The basket has beautiful gold details with handpainted roses and other fauna in the center of the basket. The basket measures 8.75" and with the handle is 3.25" high. There is some paint missing and where the handle lands on the basket there is a little worn marks. In great condition for its age!
